Survived By: Fred is survived by his twin brother, Andrew (Drew) Goldstein, and by his nieces, Deborah Goldstein, Michele Shaw, and Cassandra McNulty.

Fred was one of the sweetest persons ever, beloved by all who met him. A classmate said of him after his passing, ""Fred was my first friend when we moved to Newton and I started third grade at Franklin School. I have very fond memories from close to 60 years ago. A very nice person who never bothered a soul." All the messages that I have received about Fred were along the same lines. Fred didn't have a mean bone in his body. Fred graduated from the Massachusetts School of Pharmacy and then worked as a retail pharmacist, mostly at CVS. Sadly, in the fall of 2016, he was diagnosed with frontal temporal lobe dementia. He will be sorely missed.
